Cuba viene para el Premundial de Béisbol
El equipo cubano jugará desde el 1 de octubre en Puerto Rico

El equipo principal de béisbol de Cuba estará presente en el Premundial de Béisbol que se celebrará a partir del 1 de octubre en la Isla.
Esto fue anunciado por Israel Roldán, presidente de la Federación de Béisbol de Puerto Rico.
Los cubanos no participaron en los pasados juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe celebrados en Puerto Rico el pasado mes de julio.
"Cuba estará presente en este importante torneo y estarán participando. Yo sostuve una serie de reuniones con el José Fernández, presidente del Instituto Nacional Deportivo de Cuba y con Christian Jiménez para discutir con ellos los detalles de su participación en el torneo. Ellos me indicaron su disponibilidad y que estaban interesados. Luego me reuní con el embajador norteamericano en Cuba, Jonathan Farrar, y el puertorriqueño Joaquín Monserrate hijo, quien trabaja en la Oficina de Asuntos de Interés de Estados Unidos en Cuba y se lograron los acuerdos donde se le va a dar a la delegación cubana todo el apoyo para garantizar su participación", señaló el líder federativo.
Junto a la delegación cubana, participarán las delegaciones de Puerto Rico, República Dominicana, Antillas Holandesas, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Nicaragua, México y Aruba. Los primeros

Cuba has had all the opportunity to go back to where it was. America did not abandon Cuba and neither did Cuban-Americans and that's what you still don't get into your FAT head. I have many good friends around the world that I communicate with who have just arrived from Cuba and I know many people who I communicate with who live in Cuba now and they have no problems with Cuban-Americans, we all get along! You and maybe a few more do not like Cuban-Americans who who came here in the 60's and the 70's but the hundreds of others that I know appreciate what Cuban-Americans have done for the last 50 years and I appreciate even more for all the courage they have. They are very special! You, I don't know where your hate, jealousy and anger comes from. But I tell you something, you Fantomas left Cuba in 1980! That's 29 years ago, that's a long time already! So d me a favor, stop trying to divide us all into categories. Cuba belongs to us all! BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO!! When Raul does that and the people know that they could go out on the a streets and protest without being placed in jail for 25 years, you should concentrate more on that, not on separating us.

So that proves that making relationships with Cuba and that sort of government does not help. The Cubans will have better things to buy? With what money? The money their family members send them from America? Look, there's no need to continue here we both know the problem here but please stop talking bad about the Cuban-Americans who came here first. It's not our fault and it's not America's fault either. Stop criticizing your own people and try to stay with one opinion because you can be very confusing and very negative also. If you notice, I always have these disagreements and arguments with you when you start to talk bad about Cuban-Americans and America in general. As for negotiations with Castro, the only deal I would make with those murderers would be: Freedom of travel for Cubans and release the political prisoners. Those are the first things that have to happen. If Raul says no, then leave it as is! Let the Cubans leave Cuba first and then I will be more than happy to help them get a job and go on with their lives and aspirations.

En estos primeros meses del 2009 ha desfilado una comparsa sui generis de presidentes y personalidades politicas por la Habana. Al parecer nadie quiere perder la oportunidad de tener una foto con el dictador del Tropico en su coleccion. La gran mayoria de la comitiva han sido presidentes de izquierda, muchos de ellos admiradores fervientes de la dictadura cubana como la presidenta chilena Bachetel, quien se olvido de los derechos humanos en tierra cubana como si de una amnesia temporal se tratara.
Pero el colofon de la comparsa llego al final cuando 7 congresistas americanos visitaron La Habana esta pasada semana. Y no es que asombre la noticia, lo que asombra es la actitud de estos legisladores que se deben al pueblo norteamericano. Tres de estos politicos tuvieron la oportunidad que han tenido pocos mortales de tener un encuentro con el Moribundo en Jefe. Y no crean que fueron a aconsejarlo sobre derechos humanos, o sobre su postura en contra de los EEUU. No que va! todo lo contrario. Se olvidaron de quien es Fidel Castro, olvidaron que ese señor tuvo la osadia de poner misiles nucleares a menos de 100 millas de los EEUU. Se olvidaron que ha alentado a cualquiera que se oponga a los EEUU. Olvidaron que ese anciano achacoso con chaleco adidas un dia le arrebato de un plumazo todos los bienes que tenian en Cuba ciudadanos americanos, muchos de ellos aun vivos, o sus familias.
Casi 50 años despues, los politicos norteamericanos se "alegran de verlo bien" al decir de Barbara Lee, e incluso se "sienten parte de su familia" como expreso pateticamente Bobby Rush, quien parece que le gustaria agregarse el apellido Castro. Tampoco quisieron molestar el genio de tan ilustre anfitrion asi que se olvidaron de los opositores pacificos del Tirano, muchos de ellos en carceles con largas penas por "traicion" o por ser "espias de los EEUU" gobierno que ellos representan.
Detras de todo que es lo que se busca? Tal vez que Obama permita que se le financie con dinero de los bancos americanos (de los contribuyentes podriamos decir) las compras de arroz, pollo y otras minusias que hacen los Castros a los EEUU. O que se les permita a los americanos ir de turistas a La Habana en vez de a Cancun. Por estos "intereses" los politicos norteamericanos estan listos a vender su alma, y a ensuciar toda su historia de defensa de los derechos humanos. Bueno, al fin y al cabo ya lo hicieron con China y Vietnam.
Nuevos vientos soplan entre Washington y La Habana, pero no son vientos de libertad ni de democracia. Son vientos de interes y de negocio. Poco importan los millones de cubanos esclavos dentro de la isla. Poco importan los disidentes y opositores al regimen para quienes el gobierno de los EEUU siempre fue una fuente de estimulo y apoyo moral. La dictadura esta contenta y no es por gusto. Solo le falta el reconocimiento y el apoyo del gobierno norteamericano y parece que se acerca a toda maquina.
Cuando miro las imagenes del encuentro con Fidel de estos politicos, recuerdo la escena final del libro "Rebelion en la Granja" de George Orwell. Al final todos los politicos son iguales cuando de intereses se trata, no importa si viven en Cuba o en Washington.

Tienes mucha razon Javier, muchos hemos tratado de desenmascarar las motivaciones reales que llevaron a ese grupo de ovejas, lidereadas por una cabeza inteligente y malevola , a la movilizacion.
Señalemos algunos puntos claves:
1.- Margarita jamas ( y tuvo las posibilidades de hacerlo) tomo una linea politica en contra del sistema, todo lo contrario , coqueteo con el.
2.- Durante su tiempo de gloria en Espana no se observa en su blog sus inquietudes politicas ni filosoficas.
3.- Parece ser que en su exilio economico en Francia, ( pues ni el arte , ni el cuento le permitio permanecer en Madrid) invadida por sentimientos de fustracion y tedio, corcomida por la envidia de ver sus exitosos coterraneos , su musa le enseño el camino: La Libertad de Cuba, ese es un buen tema para ganar publico!
4.- Y ahi el ego se disparo, su blog, hasta ahora visitado solo por diletantesadvenedizosincultos, oportunistas, trepadores y arribistas, ambiciosos, morralla y populachos, se veria de pronto visitado y apoyado por nuestros intelectuales, por nuestros patriotas, por nuestro exilio, por todos los que sufrimos y soñamos con una CUBA LIBRE y con eso la gloria, Margarita la libertadora de Cuba. Señores, despierten.
4.- Por ultimo, su llamamiento, en si mismo, denota su improvisacion en el asunto cubano y su ansia de protagonismo y fama.
Pongo en claro que reclamo la libertad de los presos politicos, de Cuba y en general en todo el mundo, pero nuestras peticiones no pueden ser menos de las que ellos hicieron y por las cuales estan injustamente pagando uan condena.
Tus peticiones son un insulto para los cubanos de dentro y de fuera pues hay mucho mas que exigir diletante arribista!
No insultes a los presos politicos y al sufrido pueblo de Cuba con tus juegos oportunistas.
Continua tu blog con la superficialidad acostumbrada que va mas con tu persona.

PROTESTA MUNDIAL POR LA LIBERTAD DE EXPRESIÓN** LA LIBERTAD DE UNO ES LA LIBERTAD DE TODOS **25 DE JUNIO: ÚNETE a la Protesta ¡No Más Cierres!
1) El 25 de junio, en la mayor cantidad de países que nos logremos organizar,protestaremos frente a la embajada o consulado de Venezuela correspondiente ofrente a organizaciones internacionales relacionadas al tema de los DerechosHumanos.
2) La protesta consiste en manifestar llevando una mordaza roja como símbolo deviolación a la libertad de expresión.
3) Durante esta protesta se entregará un documento en rechazo al cierre de Globovisión y de cualquier medio de comunicación del mundo

Estimados Sres.:
Me pongo en contacto con ustedes debido a los dramáticos acontecimientos que ese están produciendo en Honduras.
Estamos consternados de la brutalidad de las armas, de aquellos que las apoyan y de aquellos que no alzan su voz en estos trágicos momentos.
Hay que parar este golpe militar ignominioso y decir con fuerza y claridad cuál es nuestra postura.
La democracia y, la consulta a los ciudadanos o la sinrazón y la cobardía de las armas.
Que nadie pueda decir en el futuro que usted o yo tuvimos ambigüedad con el terror y con las armas.
Debemos defender el orden constitucional , la democracia y la palabra, elemento fundamental mucho más poderoso que las armas.
Unámonos para parar el golpe, unámonos por honestidad, por honradez, y que nunca un fusil pueda silenciar las palabras ni las ideas. Que nos vean en las calles con los desarmados con la fuerza de la razón y la seguridad de la verdad.
Ahora es el momento de conocer tu decisión.
Que tu voz retumbe alta y clara en Honduras y, en el mundo.
